Meet Our Creator and Founder
Having moved from Chicago to Texas 7 years ago brought many new changes to my life. One of my favorite change was the warm weather and the ability to have more time in the sun.
As much as I enjoyed this time I quickly realized how frustrating it was to have to pack 3 towels, sunscreen, phone, keys, wallet, magazine, water bottle, and my travel pillow for comfort all into a beach bag.
My name is Diane Ottinger, I am a resident of San Antonio, TX and I am a single mother of 4 beautiful grown children. Being a seamstress and one who has sewn most of my life, I went to work creating something easier.
Through several trial and errors, the Apricari® Lounge Cover was invented and I thought I was onto something big! If I was enjoying this so much wouldn’t everyone else?
After all, I was watching people come down to the pool doing the same thing, struggling to position 3 towels on the chair and watching as the towel on top went sliding down and trying to lay the 3rd towel over the arms of the chair to fit both arms.
I have sewn many things in my life and have even done upholstery but I am beyond proud of the Apricari® Lounge Cover that I designed and made.
I now have a team of seamstresses who help me bring your Apricari® to you made by hand. I have been told that I have thought of everything to make your day a relaxing and enjoyable day.
